BUTTERFLY Tackifire C

Though the TACKIFIRE C is the newest development out of the house of Butterfly, it already celebrated it's first Gold medal at the Olympics 2004 with Zhang Yining. Trademark of the TACKIFIRE C is first it's dynamic sponge, which is similar to the Sriver, but second and more important it's tacky surface, which reminds of a Chinese rubber. By this the strength of the rubber lies in a controlled service- and return-play with much rotation, and in the block-play. Most of the tacky surfaces are very soft and don't provide much dynamics

At the TACKIFIRE Butterfly has managed not only to keep the surface absolute clean and stainless, but very hard as well. By this the energy is provided, which the top players need to put pressure on their opponent.

Even Chuan Chi-Yuan (Taiwan), Butterfly-player and amongst the World's Top-10 for more than two years, was convinced by the dynamics of the TACKIFIRE C right away. Even though the TACKIFIRE C allows touchy topspins out of semi-distance due to it's dynamic sponge of medium hardness, Butterfly still recommends it mainly for the forehand. Only there the necessary power can be generated to turn the extreme grip of the surface into catapult-like energy.
